Introductory Profile: About Kisla Jimenez

Kisla Jimenez is a mother of two who lives in Austin but was born in Chicago. Her parents are Colombian. She runs a store with her husband called Tesoros Trading Company that sells imported goods from all around the world. She tries to make sure that everything in her store is fair trade for the betterment of the world. She has a bubbly attitude and can't help but flash a kind smile at everyone she sees.

She has Colombian heritage and almost everything in her house is from out of the country. For presents she gives bracelets from Peru or little statues from Haiti. She has bronze colored skin and charcoal black hair with a few grey streaks. She wears lots of unique clothing items from all around the world.

She talked in the interview with seriousness and helpfulness. She spoke with little pauses, and crutch words. She conveyed the importance of fair trade and how it helps indigenous peoples of the world.

Kisla Jimenez owns and runs a store with her husband called Tesoros Trading Company. Her company sells imported goods from all over the world. Ms. Jimenez tries to make sure that everything in Tesoros is fair trade.
