Jubilee Barton

Introductory Profile: About Jubilee Barton

My interview took place late Friday, March 20, at my home. I prepared twenty-two questions regarding Jubilee Barton and her experience working with an indigent population of children and her thoughts on modern health care. She gave me her opinions, and I recorded them to share.

Jubilee Barton was born and grew up in Austin, Texas, where she went to high school with my mother. She is tall, with shoulder length brown hair and hazel eyes. She is a pediatric ICU physician, and she received her training from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, then her residency at University of New Mexico. Then she did pediatric ICU training at the University of California San Francisco, after which she worked professionally for two years in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She recently moved back to Austin for her husbandís new job. He is also a pediatric physician.

The interview was full of good information about Ms. Bartonís experience in working with both adults and children in medicine. We covered topics life the Affordable Care Act, health coverage for undocumented immigrants, and how medicine is affected by insurance.
