"I still believe that all immigrants or immigrants who should be in our country should be granted the right to live and work. I will always support immigrants and illegal immigrants."

Introductory Profile: About Nathaly

I interviewed Nathaly for my interview, a family friend of mine. We discussed the social injustice immigrants have been facing. Her mom is my family’s housekeeper and former babysitter and I have known both of them since I was a toddler. Nathaly’s parents are both undocumented immigrants from Mexico. Nathaly is a senior at a high school in central Texas and is planning on going to Texas Tech. One of her hobbies is dance and she is on the school’s dance team. Nathaly is a 17-year-old with long brown hair and brown eyes and is a very nice and helpful.

The conversation ended up being very relaxed, but I was worried it was going to be awkward because I was asking her personal questions and some were about social injustice her family might have faced before. I think Nathaly said some pretty amazing things about justice for undocumented immigrants and I think more people should stop and listen to the what she and many others have to say.
