Introductory Profile: About Kalsoom Begum

I interviewed Kalsoom Begum who is my grandmother. I first met her when I was six. She was born in the Summer of 1940. She had her father, her two brothers, and her one sister. She is a housewife and is a Muslim. Her favorite thing to do is knitting and when she was young, she loved to go outside. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and has been in three wars.

When I interviewed her, we talked about the Indo-Pak war of 1965 and her experience during the war. She was extremely scared during the war and is thankful that she and her family escaped safely. The interview went very well although it did have a sad feeling to it.
