Introductory Profile: About Joe Rice

I interviewed my great-grandfather, who fought in the Army Airforce in World War 2. He flew reconnaissance planes and took photos of the enemies' troops placements. He would go flying over the enemy troops as they shot anti-aircraft guns at him. He would snap a ton of pictures and go flying back to the military base where they would make maps of the enemies. He joined the Air Force when he was 18. When he returned he took his G.I. Bill and got a degree in Physics. He worked with Texas Instruments and lived with his wife Nancy Rice. They still currently live in there home in Austin.
