Daniel Prath

As Interviewed by Lily Prath, March 15, 2018
"The biggest take away that I have is that most people in the world are good, and most people in the world have, you know, they just want to be safe, and live, and let their kids grow, and have a life. I think that this would knock down a lot of these crazy political walls that we put up between each other."

Introductory Profile: About Daniel Prath

Daniel Prath had been stationed in iraq in 1991. He was a navy corpsman at the time, and was stationed there to help the wounded at the gulf war. His job was to help heal the people that were wounded in the war. He entered the war zone, but his job was just as important as any of the soldiers or other jobs. He helped many people during that time, and his journey after was just as harrowing. He traveled across the Middle East and Southern Africa to help people affected by the eruption of Mount Pinatubo and the tsunami thatching Bangladesh.

Daniel Prath is my uncle, and I have known him for my whole life. He is a man that is always helping someone out when they need it, no matter the cost. He is still helping out in his neighborhood and serving on local committees, so it came as no surprise to me when i learned he had been in the military. Many of his qualities make him good at being a navy corpsman such as having a list of tasks he needs to complete, being an early riser and, of course, the desire to help others.
